We accept slash and gen vids for Media Fandoms. We will accept up to 3 vids per vidder or per vidding group.
The deadline for vid show submissions for WWSCon 2026 is June 30th.
We'd like vids to be over 60 seconds long. On the other end of the scale, please try to keep vids underneath 5 minutes long.
Ideally vids are in the 2:00 - 4:30 range to keep the vidshow moving at a nice smooth pace for viewers.
If you have a vid that does not fall within the 1 minute to 5 minute range, you can still submit the vid to our Video Programming to be played between panels.
While we do accept gen, we don't generally include F/M pairings (canon or otherwise).
This does not extend to poly couples (F/M/M, F/F/M, or any other variation are A-OK and will be happily included in the vidshow).
Sorry, we do not accept RP vids. Our programming includes meta-discussion of RP and DIY RP panels, but we do not include RP in our vidshow.
If it is footage from the show or film, yes, but it will be labeled with a warning.
We do include content warnings. When submitting the form you will be asked for what content warnings you believe apply, and before the show is finalized the vids will be double-checked to ensure they are appropriately tagged in the program. The content warnings are shown in title-cards before the vid during the show.
Content warnings are for what is included WITHIN the vid, not within the fandom. This means you could have a Hannibal vid, but not have any content warnings (so long as the vid itself does not include the violence / gore).
Please be aware your vid will be labeled with a warning label for any of the following:
- Animal Harm: Depictions of harm to animals.
- Auditory Triggers: Sudden volume changes.
- Canonical Major Character Death: On-screen death of a major character.
- Gore: Significant amounts of blood and/or viscera.
- Nudity: If it shows boobs, dicks, butts, it gets labeled.
- Self-harm: Depictions of self-harm.
- Sexual Activity: Anything past kissing, folks.
- Sexual Assault/Violence: Depictions of sexual assault or violence.
- Suicide: Depictions of suicide and attempted suicide.
- Violence: Depictions of any type of violence or threat thereof.
- Visual Triggers: Stuttery or quick cuts and/or strobing lights or bright flashes
While these are what we be default scan for, if you believe your vid needs other warnings you can add those during the form. Or, if you are an audience member with a specific warning you might appreciate having a heads up for, reach out to Aaronantium and we can see about either giving you specific heads up for certain vids or adding the warning to the title cards.
The show is streamed through Discord, with a subtitled and non-subtitled stream playing simultaneously to allow the audience to choose whether they want subtitles while watching the vids.
- Vids too short or long for the vidshow
- Slideshows advertising fandoms, conventions, or fannish events
